Meet Dr. Brad Uthoff and Dr. Steph Uthoff
Naturally Discovering Chiropractic Care
Dr. Brad grew up playing baseball and football, wrestling and lifting weights. This healthy lifestyle led him to be interested in the health care field; he just didn’t know exactly what specialty he’d enjoy.
Attending college in Colorado, he loved the outdoor culture and geared his education toward pre-medicine. Then, he was hired by a chiropractor to help with nutrition, exercise programs and physiotherapy. He was pleasantly surprised to learn how many people the chiropractor was helping through chiropractic care. “I had never been to a chiropractor so it really opened my eyes to seeing how you can help people get better faster, naturally!”
Help for Her Scoliosis
When she was only 11, Dr. Steph had scoliosis and with a crooked spine went to a chiropractor for her first adjustment. While she didn’t know she would end up being a chiropractor, the desire to impact people’s lives in a positive way was always there.
Her all-natural, holistic approach to healing aligned with chiropractic care. As she was already living in Davenport at the time, the decision was easy to attend Palmer Chiropractic College. “It was a perfect fit!”
Eager to help patients of all ages, Dr. Steph decided to further her education with a three year post graduate Diplomate in Clinical Chiropractic Pediatrics (DICCP) program through the International Chiropractors Association (ICA) to specialize in pediatric care: infancy, toddler to preschool, adolescence and special needs, along with pregnancy: pre to postnatal care, birth and postpartum health. She received her diploma December 2016 and is the only board certified Pediatric Chiropractor in the Cedar Rapids – Iowa City corridor area.
She is excited to provide the highest level of chiropractic care to all the families and mommies to be in and around our community.

Choosing the Same Path
Growing up in Iowa, Dr. Brad had known Palmer as one of the greatest chiropractic colleges that had a wonderful adjusting program. While attending Palmer, he met his future wife, Dr. Steph.
After graduating, Dr. Brad and Dr. Steph decided to work together in Iowa staying near family and friends. Together they decided to stay close to home, purchasing a practice in Amana.
In an effort to get to know the community and patients, they worked with the doctor for several months before taking over the practice. Thankful for an easy transition, the two began serving patients on a foundation of trust, eager to help the community stay healthy.
Embracing an Active Life Together
Together, they enjoy embracing life in Amana with their three children, Aksel, Adalyn and Baeren. Dr. Brad and Dr. Steph also enjoy spontaneous weekend getaways to go bike riding, golfing, kayaking or sporting events.
Dr. Steph grew up in a farming community, rooted in an appreciation for the outdoors. She enjoys being outside bicycling and running. As Dr. Brad is a sports enthusiast, this Broncos, Cubs and Hawkeyes fan enjoys playing and watching sports.
